Basic course – Actuarial Accounting in Non-Life Insurance
The Association of Actuaries and Financial Analysts has been planning to give lectures on a Basic Course of Non-Life Insurance Actuarial Accounting. Educational course will be conducted by the authors of many works and books in risk theory, actuarial accounting and financial analysis, candidates of mathematical and physical sciences Guram Mirzashvili and Zurab Tsigroshvili.
The course will last for 3 months and it will cover the following main topics (see the program) (see the program):
Risk theory and mathematical statistics;
Insurance products in non-life insurance;
Actuarial forecasting of a company loss dynamics (risk individual and collective models);
Premium definition principles;
Reinsurance and its different forms;
Risk process and bankruptcy probability;
Use of Excel in actuarial calculations.
After the course successful graduation, attendants will be given appropriate certificates.
After doing the course, those who want to get general insurance actuary title have to pass a qualification exam.
